Dilatonic Parallelizable NS-NS Backgrounds
We complete the classification of parallelizable NS-NS backgrounds in type II super-gravity by adding the dilatonic case to the result of Figueroa-O'Farrill on the non-dilatonic case. We also study the supersymmetry of these parallelizable backgrounds. It is shown that all the dilatonic parallelizable backgrounds have sixteen supersymmetries. The parallelizable pp-wave backgrounds have been rec...
متن کاملType IIB Orientifolds with NS-NS Antisymmetric Tensor Backgrounds
We consider six dimensional N = 1 space-time supersymmetric Type IIB orientifolds with non-zero untwisted NS-NS sector B-field. The B-field is quantized due to the requirement that the Type IIB spectrum be left-right symmetric. The presence of the B-field results in rank reduction of both 99 and 55 open string sector gauge groups. We point out that in some of the models with non-zero B-field th...
متن کاملOn solvable models of type IIB superstring in NS-NS and R-R plane wave backgrounds
We consider type IIB string in the two plane-wave backgrounds which may be interpreted as special limits of the AdS3 × S supported by the NS-NS or R-R 3-form backgrounds. The NS-NS plane-wave string model is equivalent to a direct generalization of the NappiWitten model, with its spectrum being similar to that of strings in constant magnetic field. The R-R model can be solved in the light-cone ...
متن کاملHybrid Superstrings in NS-NS Plane Waves
By using the hybrid formalism, superstrings in four-dimensional NS-NS plane waves are studied in a manifest supersymmetric manner. This description of the superstring is obtained by a field redefinition of the RNS worldsheet fields and defined as a topological N = 4 string theory. The Hilbert space consists of two types of representations describing short and long strings. We study the physical...

The code provided between the lines is not complete. You are asked to add your own code. Consider a simple network composed of only two nodes (S and D), and one link connecting them. The link connecting the two nodes has a speed of 1Mbps, a propagation delay of 100 ms, and a DropTail buffer at its input of very large size. $ns duplex-link $S $D 1Mb 100ms DropTail $ns queue-limit $S $D 10000 We ...
